World Water Day 2021

The United Nations ‘World Water Day’ takes place on Monday 22 March 2021, celebrated in a worldwide online event.

Water will be greatly affected by climate change, and water availability is already becoming unpredictable in many places, with the world is seeing increased instances of flooding and extreme weather. Ensuring that everyone has access to sustainable water and sanitation services is a critical climate change mitigation strategy for the years ahead.

EcoStyle supplies a range of educational products to water company education teams, to assist with their teaching activities. Over the past year, EcoStyle has completed interactive models for the Environment Agency and also Yorkshire Property Flood Resilience, raising awareness of flood risks and prevention.

Forthcoming projects include a wave tank to highlight the dangers of costal erosion.

EcoStyle’s managing director Simon Hall said ‘World Water Day 2021 gives EcoStyle the opportunity to reaffirm its commitment to providing high-quality interactive demonstration models to raise awareness of water conservation.’
