EcoStyle Wins Double Federation of Small Businesses Awards
EcoStyle are the winners of two prestigious business awards at the recent Federation of Small Businesses Awards Evening, held at the stately home of Luton Hoo.
EcoStyle beat off competition from hundreds of companies across the region to make the finals, and took top honours in two of the ten categories: the Business Innovation Award 2010, sponsored by the University of Bedfordshire's Knowledge Hub, and the Environmental Responsibility Award 2010, sponsored by Lloyds TSB Commercial.
The judges said: 'They have not jumped onto the environmental bandwagon - they have been driving it, combining local manufacturing with a global vision to make a big difference.'
The judges continued: 'A fantastic business with a focus on educating pupils on renewable energy sources. A stand-out entry by a business set up to educate and promote energy from sustainable sources.'
EcoStyle’s managing director Simon Hall, together with his two colleagues Clémence Lecomte and Diane Rochon received their awards from Anglia TV presenter Susie Fowler-Watts.
Simon said: ‘We are incredibly proud to have won these awards. We believe our products are making a real impact in the fight against climate change, and are inspiring students.’
