EcoStyle Supports Luton Borough Council for The Great Big Green Week 2021
EcoStyle provided a set of its Renewable Energy Kits for Luton Borough Council to use during the Great Big Green Week, allowing the council’s sustainability team to demonstrate the benefits of renewable energy to members of the public.
The Great Big Green Week is a UK-wide celebration of climate action, held from 18th to 26th September 2021.
The council set up a special event stand in The Mall, Luton, providing the opportunity for shoppers to talk to teams from waste and recycling, climate change and sustainable transport.
In addition to the demonstration kits, the council also provided cycle maps and leaflets on waste reduction and recycling, saving energy, and advice on how Luton residents can reduce their carbon footprints.
The Great Big Green Week is led by The Climate Coalition, the UK’s largest group of organisations dedicated to action against climate change. Its members include the National Trust, WWF, Women's Institute, Oxfam and RSPB.
