Community Engagement Model Hire

A selection of community engagement models will be available to hire from May 2026.

Models Available for Hire

• Property Flood Resilience (PFR) Model (Extended Version)

• Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) Model (Standard Version)

• Surface Drainage Model

Hire Period

The models are available to hire for a minimum period of five days. The model should be returned on the last day of the hire period.

Hire Costs

The hire cost is £495.00 per model per week, excluding delivery. Additional days are charged at £75 per day.

Discounts on Community Engagement Models

Organisations that hire a model receive 10% off the purchase price of any of our community engagement models, valid for three months after the hire period.

Delivery and Return

You are welcome to collect and return the model/s from us at Cranfield Innovation Centre, Bedfordshire. Alternatively, we can discuss delivery options with you.

Please do not use any other third-party courier to collect or return the models, as this may result in damage to the models.

Product Care

• Complete a Model Hire Checklist form on collection and return of the model.

• Please ensure that the person transporting the model handles it with care.

• Follow the set-up and operating instructions for the model.

• Please ensure that other users of the model are familiar with the handling and care instructions.

• Follow the packing away advice, including removing loose items.

• Return in good condition ready for the next user.

• Please always store and transport the models in the carry cases supplied.

Loss or Damage

• The hirer is responsible for the model during the hire period, including transportation.

• Please notify us immediately of any damage or missing parts.

• Repair of damage or replacement of lost items is charged at cost price.

• In the event of loss or extensive damage where repair is not possible, the hirer is liable for the cost of replacing the model.

Liability

• EcoStyle Ltd accepts no liability to you or to any third parties for direct or indirect damage or loss associated with your hire of the model.

• EcoStyle Ltd makes no guarantees about the technical, scientific or functional accuracy or performance of our models. It is your responsibility to use and interpret the models appropriately for your specific circumstances.
