Canadian minister sees EcoStyle kits in action

Minister Bjornson watches a demonstration of EcoStyle's Wind Turbine Kit

Peter Bjornson, Minister of Education for the Province of Manitoba in Canada visited the Carman Collegiate, where he was involved in a presentation demonstrating EcoStyle's Wind Turbine Kit.

The image shows the Wind Turbine Kit in action, together with a fully functional anemometer, which has been added to the kit.

Ernie Bart of Carman Collegiate said: 'Once students are familiar with the EcoStyle kit, they are encouraged to work on design projects which might incorporate its use, e.g. an air pump for an aquarium or a water pump for a fountain.'

 He continued: 'I am currently working with an electronics technology teacher to help with the technical constraints of projects such as this, and I am keen to hear about other innovative applications of the Wind Turbine Kit!'

EcoStyle were pleased to exhibit at the Eco-Schools Show 2011 held at the Bolton Arena.
